About Kewl Tubes™ golf head covers (Brand Name pronounced "Cool Tubes")
Diane Gracely, 46, of Ocala, Florida is the founder of Kewl Tubes. Founded in February 2006.
Diane is an amazing woman, who has taught herself everything about computers, the internet, and how to market her products on the internet. She has owned her own home business since 1998.
Diane has a hereditary nerve disorder called Charcot-Marie-Tooth. Known as CMT for short. Diane became disabled due to the neuropathy and she had to have both of her feet reconstructed during 1996 - 2000, and then learn to walk all over again. Because of her disability and her physical limitations, she was inspired to work from home and start her own business. Diane had started another business in 1998 and sold it in January 2006 when she decided to start this type of business because of the lack ofgood quality knit golf head covers on the market. She does not like the neoprene covers that come with new clubs because they are hard to get on and off your clubs and she wanted to be able to hide the identity of her Taylormade clubs.
In 2006, Diane began hand knitting golf head covers and designed this web site to take orders for her golf club covers. Diane's business grew very fast in the first year and continues to grow more every year. Diane has several family members who also work from home helping her to fulfill orders, including her husband Keith, her mother-in-law, and a sister.
Diane and Keith have a passion for woodturning on a wood lathe. So they have added a few other golf products to the business such as, beautiful wooden putting cups, golf money jars, and golf ball display boxes, which are also found here on the web site for sale. Diane and Keith both enjoy a game of golf occasionally when they have some free time. Diane especially loves the beauty golf courses. And due to her disability she is not very good at the game but she still trys to enjoy it and improve her game. But most of all she enjoys making golfers happy with her knit golf head covers.
